New Greater Binghamton Tourism Video Debuts

(BINGHAMTON, NY) Broome County Executive Barbara J. Fiala was joined by Lou Santoni President and Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Binghamton Chamber's Convention & Visitors Bureau to unveil the area's new promotional and tourism video.
Two and four minute video segments were created to highlight the area's assets such as local educational institutions, sports and recreation, scenic views, and more. The videos will be used as part of the marketing campaigns for the Convention & Visitors Bureau and county economic development agencies.
"We live, work and raise our families in a great community," said Executive Barbara J. Fiala. "Marketing our area is crucial to our growth and ability to attract new businesses, young entrepreneurs, new families and students. By promoting our assets we extend an invitation for others to experience our community."
The video segments will be used on County and Convention and Visitor Bureau websites as well as for hospitality training, bid presentations for conventions, groups etc. Communiqué Design & Marketing was awarded the contract to capture footage of the community, carry out the concept, design, editing and production. Hotel Motel tax dollars were utilized to cover the cost of the project, which in total was $12,100.00.
