Hawaiian Luau at Participating Broome County Senior Centers

Everyone is invited to a Hawaiian Luau and luncheon at participating local senior centers. The celebration begins around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18.  All are welcome to come dressed in Hawaiian shirts and skirts. A special Hawaiian lunch will be served around noon, including ham with pineapple sauce, Hawaiian baked beans, a garden salad and coconut cream pie.

Individuals age 60 or older may enjoy lunch for a suggested contribution of $4. Those who are under age 60 may purchase their meal for $5.

Anyone who is interested in attending the celebration will need to make a lunch reservation by noon, Tuesday, July 17th by calling the center they plan on attending.  For the number of a center near you, call the Office for Aging: 778-2411.
